I thought it was cool to share this poster that was made for a collective project created by Amaury Filho, called "Gig Posters", to which almost a hundred artists submitted their works. And mine was one of those selected for a future collective collection on Amaury's Behance.

The proposed briefing was the creation of a concert poster based on a song by one of the previously listed bands (from the 70s and 80s). From that list, which was basically hard rock, metal and classic rock bands, I chose Deep Purple, as I already had my favorite song from them, "Child In Time".

My idea was to interpret the unearthly feeling that Ian Gillan's ghostly vocal line has always conveyed to me. Then, the appearance of a girl in old clothes, coming from the past, in a “futuristic” environment for the music era, an arcade from the 80s.

The date of the show is real, it was the band's first tour after eight years without activity. And "Child In Time" was on that night's setlist.

I painted with ecoline on paper, and gave the typographic finishing on digital.

(To show you my poster of Deep Purple's "Child In Time", I decided to grab my musical saw and join Ian Gillan a little bit, I hope you like it)
Some previous versions before the chosen one.
